Mike Wolbert grew up on North Courtland Street with his Mom (Linda) Dad (Arlie) and sister(Wendy). His Aunt & Uncle lived next store and his Grandparents lived down the street. As a kid Mike spent a lot of time fishing at Zacharias Pond. 


Mike started his public service as a boy scout earning his Eagle Scout Award which is the highest rank in scouting. Mike graduated from East Stroudsburg High School, this was back before it was called East Stroudsburg South. In high school he participated in Marching Band as a tuba player and on the High School swim team holding the breaststroke record for 10 years.


Mike graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 1996 with his wife Sonia, whom he met during his senior year of college. Mike and Sonia stayed close to campus after graduating raising their kids, Emily, Zack and Sydney across the street from campus.


Mike spent his early career at a school for troubled teens in New Jersey. At 19 he started coaching the Pocono Family YMCA Swim Team. During his time at the Y he has coached over 50 National Level Swimmers. One of his greatest accomplishments has been coaching his own children to a high level of swimming with his older children going on to a Division I swimming program and leaving their mark on La Salle Swimming & Diving with multiple records and conference accomplishments. His youngest daughter Sydney is currently swimming with Mike and qualified for Y Nationals earlier this year.


In 2013 Mike was elected Constable for the first ward in East Stroudsburg. In his time as constable he has worked in multiple Magisterial District Courts in the County. His time as constable he has worked directly with in the court for which he is seeking election. He possesses 10 years of direct experience with the Civil Matters that come before the court including Landlord/Tenant matters, Civil &Was Traffic violations.


Mike is fully certified by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He successfully completed the State course for Magisterial District Judges. He will be ready to serve immediately.


As a lifelong resident of the East Stroudsburg Borough, Mike is invested in the East Stroudsburg Community. He will be fair, respectful and compassionate while following the law.

Deborah Modica is a lifelong advocate for hard work, community involvement, and responsible leadership. Born and raised in Mt. Bethel, PA, she attended Bangor School and was selected for the prestigious Project Upward Bound at East Stroudsburg University—a government program designed to develop future leaders of America. From an early age, Deborah demonstrated a strong work ethic, getting hands-on experience in production agriculture, livestock judging, and public speaking through her active participation in FFA (Future Farmers of America). She was also a dedicated 4-H member, a Girl Scout, and began working on local farms and in a cabinet shop at just 11 years old.


In 1981, Deborah moved to the West End, where she planted deep roots and has called Chestnuthill Township home ever since. As a wife and mother of three, she understands the importance of building a strong, supportive community where families can thrive.

A Wealth of Experience – From Real Estate to Development & Public Service

With over 25 years as a licensed real estate professional, Deborah has played a key role in new home construction, property development, and helping families and businesses find the right place to grow. She is currently leading a large-scale project for her lifelong riding club, which she has been part of since she was seven years old. As an advisory board member, Deborah works closely with her team to oversee all aspects of development—including land use planning, township meetings, zoning approvals, and construction preparation.


Her experience extends far beyond real estate. As a small business owner, she knows the challenges of budgeting, managing expenses, and making smart financial decisions. As a farmer, she understands the importance of agriculture in Chestnuthill Township and remains committed to preserving and strengthening this vital industry.


A Passion for Giving Back

Deborah has always been deeply committed to community service. Her extensive volunteer work includes:

✔ Habitat for Humanity – Helping families secure safe, affordable housing

✔ Meals on Wheels – Delivering meals and companionship to homebound seniors

✔ North Carolina Hurricane Relief – Assisting with disaster recovery efforts

✔ Sons of Italy Children's Program – Supporting educational and community initiatives for children

✔ Clover Leaf Saddle Club – Contributing to youth programs and equestrian development


Beyond these efforts, she regularly supports local seniors by providing fresh produce, eggs, and well-being check-ins to ensure they are cared for. She is also an active member of the Pocono Mountain Board of Realtors Grievance Committee, advocating for fairness and ethical practices in the industry.

Now, Deborah is ready to bring her experience and leadership to public office. As a Chestnuthill Township Supervisor, she will work tirelessly to:

✔ Support local businesses, farms, and homeowners
